Mikaela de la Myco grew up in a first-generation italian, afro-caribbean, and indigenous mexican family in unceded Tongva territory, Los Angeles, CA.

She is a mother, a mushwomb educator and acts as a community ceremony facilitator in occupied Kumeyaay territory also known as San Diego, CA. She serves all people in ancestral practices and entheogen education and has a focus in serving bleeding people, folks within the birthing continuum from preconception to extended breastfeeding and beyond as well as people desiring or navigating conscious contraception, pregnancy release and abortion.

In person, she holds community based circles where people can journey through the dark amenta to uncover their ancestor codes, rewrite trauma wounds and make meaning with mushroom and other earth medicines.

Her platform, Mama de la Myco centers the rematriation of psychedelic practice and excavates the intersection of the archetypes of medicine woman, psychedelic mother and sacred hoe.
